Founder of Kenya in the Park to Host Afrokanist Magazine’s Launch


Like they say in Kenya Jambo Jambo friends, family and supporters, we are super excited to announce that we have been honoured by the prestigious business woman,actress,CEO and Founder of Kenya in the Park,Founder and Director of Malaika Dance Unique,Lydia Tett Olet to Host Afrokanist Magazine’s issue 3 Launch.


Lydia Olet is a woman of great ambitions, she is an inspiration to us all, her love and pride for Africa is infectious and refreshing. Lydia is an actress, a writer, story teller, drummer and most importantly, a promoter of the African culture in the UK.



Kenya in the Park



Kenya in the Park is a project set up by Malaika Dance Unique, Maasai World Market and supported by Kenyans in the United Kingdom; the project involves having an annual event with an aim of taking it to different countries. Kenya in the Park has been running for two years now and it has stated to be one of the biggest African event in Europe “Success of Kenya in the Park 2016: 2016 took a different turn, more than 6,000 people in attendance from different nationalities majority being Kenyans.  


They had variety of different stalls which included investors who came all the way from Kenya.the event was endorsed and graced by The Kenya High Commission UK and acknowledged by the foreign affairs office in Kenya.”

Kenya In the park 2017 will be taking place on the 29th of July 2017, at Plaistow Park, Greengate Street or Balaam Street, E130AS from 11:00am till 10:00pm.
